Cruising through the South!

At the beginning of March 2022, we were still checking out Georgia. We found ourselves enjoying the north eastern part of the state near Clayton. Wow! Clayton did not disappoint! Awesome restaurants and awesome drinks! We also squeezed in a hike and some shopping for everyone back home.

Some our favorite places were Chattahoochie Bend, Tallulah Gorge, the town of Helen, and Gibbs Gardens. Must see places! Oh yeah, don’t forget to checkout Clayton and the pizza/brewery downtown! You won’t be disappointed.

On the 17th of March, we drove to South Carolina. Little did we know that we’d love it there! We went into Greenville for lunch and beers and then bought new bikes!

On the April 1st, we were back in Georgia! We stayed at Jack Hill State Park and did a little golfing, a little beer tasting, and some wine tasting. We also experienced our first tornado warning! The poor pups hated it!

We then spent a few days in Savannah while camping at Skidaway Island State Park! Another favorite. Savannah did not disappoint…wine, beer, and amazing food!

April 12th, we traveled to Edisto Beach!! Oh my goodness! My FAVORITE! The beach!!! The Marshes!!! Smells amazing, is breathtaking beautiful and soothes the soul! I cannot recommend enough to visit Botany Bay Preserve! Absolutely amazing! I have never seen anything like it before! We road our bikes on the beach that night…amazing! Shells like you can’t imagine! While there we also took a trip to Tybee Island! Must do!
